SLNW with BRAIDS Strung 8” Ginny Doll ~ Ginny Dressed for a Party
Strung 8” Hard Plastic SLNW Ginny Dolls were made from 1950-53, & are marked “VOGUE” on head (usually) & “VOGUE DOLLS” on the back.
This adorable dainty darling in red mohair? Pigtails that are to proper scale for her size, has painted lashes & brows, lovely color to lips & cheeks, and very blue eyes which DO NOT sleep without help. (a phenomenon from which almost all my Ginnys suffer)
Her body has no stains, cracks, splits nor other flaws, & is well-strung.
Her pink taffeta dress with matching panties is tagged “VOGUE”, with the “ink spot blue” on white.
The embroisered white organdy overskirt & lace shoulder strap trim are a luxurious asset, with also a silk rose at the waist, as the whole outfit still retains its original “stay” or firm gathered shape.
The white vinyl “Ginny” shoes & rayon sox complete the “Summery” original outfit, which has no stains, repairs, tears nor flaws – overall condition is excellent, with only the stubborn eyes as a (not uncommon) imperfection.
No smoke environment –no repairs.
