In this auction we are offering a very pretty and near mint/mint felt skating dress with attached panties and original multi-color raffia band hat with excellent elastic chin strap.  We don't believe that this outfit was ever on a doll until we put it on our model and the hat is just perfect with no fading, no soiling, no damage (rare to find the hat in this condition, often faded or discolored).  The felt has no holes, no tears, no repairs.  No stains and no fading and still retains a nice look with no pilling and no wear to the felt.  Colors are still bright and fresh.  Although untagged as many early outfits were found to be we guarantee that it is original and not altered in any way.
We have included a pair of center snap oil cloth skates and pair of rayon socks.  Skates are fair; both snaps are still holding on but one really needs some expert attention such as reinforcement of the snap to keep it from coming off and some polish.  We have seen dolls sell with polished shoes so someone who is talented could do that as they are slightly a different shade of white comparing one to another.  Consider these something you can us until you find a better pair.
We think most be happy with this outfit and using the "as is" skates until they find a better pair.  Rarely do you find this outfit still retaining a nice felt finish and perhaps not even used on a doll and the raffia hat band still a nice rich color.
A very pretty, quality Vogue Ginny Outfit ready to put on a doll; skates are "as is" just in case you need them until you find a much nicer pair (they will need some cleaning and repair at least to the one skate, socks are a little stretched).
