Vintage 1950s Ginny Doll Case SLW Straight Leg Walker Sleepy Eyes Black Dress

Vintage 1955-1956 Vogue Ginny Doll with Vogue Dolls outfit and pink Ginny case. She measures 7 1/2” tall. Blonde hair with blue sleepy eyes, molded lashes, hard plastic, and straight legs. Her eyes do stick mostly when opening, but they generally close on their own when laid down. Her arm stringing is loosening, but still holding in place. She is a walking doll, when you move her legs back and forth her head moves freely from side to side. She is an Estate find and I have left her in as found condition. I’m not a doll expert and didn’t want to do anything that would take away from her vintage condition. She is wearing a pretty black velvet sleeveless dress with white lace trim that has a Vogue Dolls Inc. label, matching black velvet panties with lace trim, a sheer tie on waist apron with pink flower, white hat with pink ribbon tie and plastic white shoes. The shoes are marked Ginny in the bottom. Her clothing is in nice shape with some discoloration to the white lace and pink ribbons. She has little metal barrettes in her hair.
Overall she is in good played with vintage condition. She could use a cleaning and her hair done, but I will leave that up to her new owner. Her case has seen better times and shows water stains on the outside, wear on all edges, tearing to the outside. The hinges and clasp are in tact and in working condition. The inside of the case is in better condition and includes the original ribbon ties to keep the doll in place. Photos show the exact item you will receive.
