In this auction we are offering a sweet and  very pretty blue eyed blonde 1951/52 strung Vogue Ginny doll Ice Skater who is from the Sport Series of dolls.  She is wearing her factory Vogue vintage outfit in crisp and original factory condition.  Ginny is a
beautiful high
factory color doll (original factory wig, factory applied) with blue eyes that do need assistance to open and close
, common and acceptable to the majority of collectors.  She has gorgeous high color, no rubs or scratches to cheek color and no touchups, guaranteed.  Her brows and lashes are nice and visible tosca color tone,  absolutely no redo's.   Her hair is the shorter length that you see from time to time; typical (medium length cropped style)  factory applied wig that retains a lot of waves and curl to it and has
not been restyled
.  Her hair style seems to be one that you see now and then with the shorter look as  issued.   We have not only owned,  but have seen offered for sale before, other dolls with the same hairstyle too.  We think it is much nicer and perky looking versus the longer rolled flip too and the beautiful very blonde color really makes her stand out even more.    As you can see she is a beauty and we are offering her as you see her.   Ginny is marked on her back Vogue Doll and has no cracks, splits or repairs and retains what appears to be her original rubber band stringing still holding fine with no flopping or looseness.  No staining to her plastic from her outfit or ribbon tie that ties under her chin; often red can stain over the years; not here.
Ginny comes to you wearing her crisp taffeta 3-piece Ice skating outfit; includes skating dress, correct panties (came with either the polka dot or solid color taffeta rick rack trimmed) and matching bonnet which retains its original ribbon tie.  Outfit has nice body or crispness, no fading, no tears or issues.  White is still white and red still a nice brighter red, not dark red (some photos may show it a darker red than in person, few show it close to the original brighter red due to various light settings and flash when we took the pictures).   Her outfit has never been laundered, never ironed and presents beautifully; complete with all the correct pieces.   This outfit came in blue dot too; we are offering the red dotted version Ginny dressed strung doll in this auction.  Outfit is untagged as many of the earlier outfits were not but is original vintage 1950s Vogue made.    Vogue produced these dolls and outfits and offered both as a dressed doll and as a separate outfit so you can dress any of your favorite dolls.  What fun it was back in the 1950's to have so many choices for Ginny if you bought a basic doll.  But nice to get a dressed doll all set to display; most were often played with but she doesn't seem to show any play wear and was probably admired and packed away early at some point in her life.    Ginny would not be complete if she didn't wear her excellent white center snap ice skates with very good attached straps/snaps, no repairs and nice vintage rayon white socks.  She is clean, has great factory color and a wonderful doll from the early 1950's ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.  If you love this doll and her perky skating outfit and even like to collect the various colors and you already have blue, she might be one to consider. '
Unfortunately the red stand is not included and apparently are no longer available at this time from Kaiser.
A special doll for someone who loves the overall look and,  if  you love her look, she may be one you would enjoy.  Darling doll that displays well and would be an asset to most collections where she can continue to be enjoyed and shared with your family and friends.

A very pretty, quality all Vogue Ginny doll ready to find a new home; we think most would be very pleased with this special doll that you don't see offered in this color and condition too often.  Would make a great gift for that special someone in your life too.  Since she doesn't have her original box, which most are long gone as boxes weren't that important years ago, she will come to you in a nice silver gift box.  Ginny will be well protected for her journey, packaged within a shipping box to help to insure her safe arrival.
